Thank you for choosing AquaSense™ with

PUREADVANTAGE™ lter technology

How to use and store

To ensure high quality, excellent ltration performance

and great tasting water please follow the instructions .

1. How to get started

• Remove Life Time Indicator before cleaning the

jug.

• Clean all parts of the jug in the dishwasher or by

hand.

• After cleaning put back the Life Time Indicator and

activate it:

The Life Time Indicator reminds you when it is time to

change the PUREADVANTAGE™ lter. Each dot refers

to a lifetime of about one week. The recommended

lifetime of 30 days equals four dots (100%)* .

After each week of usage one circle will disappear to

show the remaining lter life time.

This is how the Life Time Indicator works:

1. Push the STATUS button to activate the display.

2. To see the status of the lter; press the button

once. For example; when four blinking lights are

visible the lter is 100% new with four weeks of

usage.

3. To reset the timing press the button.

4. Change the lter when all the lights are blinking.

2. Change ter

• Wash your hands

• Open the lter packaging and place the

PUREADVANTAGE™ lter in the hopper.

• Push the lter downwards until it ts rmly and is

placed in line with the bottom of the hopper.

How to activate the lter:

o Place the jug under the tap and ll the jug twice.

o Discard the ltered water before start using the

jug.

3. Usage of AquaSense ™:

Place the Jug under the tap inposition with the pour

through lling lid

4. AquaSense™ Capacity

• Large Jug: 1.6 liters ltered water capacity (2.3

liters total capacity)

• Small Jug: 1.2 liters ltered water capacity (1.6

liters total capacity)

5. Lifetime for the PUREADVANTAGE™ lter

• The PUREADVANTAGE™ lter achieves a lter

capacity of approximately 150 liter of tap water.

• We recommend changing the PUREADVANTAGE™

lter after 30 days* to keep optimized

performance.

• To change the lter; pull the ring on the

PUREADVANTAGE™ lter. (See point 2. Change

lter )

Store the PUREADVANTAGE™ lter

Store the sealed PUREADVANTAGE™ lter in a cold and

dry place in no direct sun light sealed in the plastic

packaging to keep the optimized performance of your

lter.

Care of AquaSense™ and the PUREADVANTAGE™

lter

• We recommend to store your jug in a cool

and shady place and remember that water is a

foodstu. See also ”Hygiene”

• The AquaSense™ Jug (excluding the Life Time

Indicator) is dish washer safe.

Before cleaning your AquaSense™ Jug in the dish

washer, remove the Life Time Indicator.

• Use only batteries type LITHIUM CR2032. Batteries

must be removed from the appliance before it is

scrapped and are to be disposed of safely

Important Notes

• AquaSense™ and PUREADVANTAGE™ lter are

designed for use only with municipally treated tap

water or with water from private supplies which

has been tested as safe to drink.

• If municipally treated tap water or water from

private supplier is unsafe to drink without

boiling, the ELECTROLUX ltered water must be

boiled before drinking. Unboiled ltered water

may cause severe illness in persons with weak

immunity and babies.

• The Electrolux water lter should not be used

on both unsafe to drink tap water and drinkable

water at the same time. If Electrolux water lter

is used on unsafe to drink tap water, the entire

water ltration must be thoroughly cleaned and a

new lter inserted when the Electrolux water lter

is utilised on drinkable water
