Tare Function

1. Place the scale on a flat surface.

2. Make sure that there is no object on the scale.

3. Press key to turn the scale on.

4. Press key to select the desired unit of measure.

5. Place the empty container on the scale and wait until the weight appears

6. Press key once to reset the display to zero.

7. Put the ingredients to be weighed in the container.

The Tare function allows you automatically subtract weight of

a container or dish to determine the net weight of the

ingredients to be weighed.

8. The weight of added ingredients is displayed.

9. Once all items are removed from the scale, the display shows a negative

number. Press key to cancel the Tare function and the display

returns to zero. If you switch off the scale function Tare also will be

canceled.

IMPORTANT

If you wish, you can turn the scale on with a bowl or dish on

the platform. By doing so, the balance will automatically

activate the Tare function, discounting the weight of the

object and showing the display reset.
