H. Yellow indicator lamp
Lights up when the locking function has been
activated.
I. Button for locking function.
Used for temporary disconnection of the locking
function and alarm re-setting.
J. Button for night setting/lighting.
Used for activation/deactivation of the night setting
function and to switch the lighting and the alarm
setting on and off.
K. Photo-electric sensor.
Senses prevailing lighting conditions (must not be
covered).
L. Ice feeder
Activated when the pedal in the feeder is fully
depressed.
M. Lighting
Before use
·Remove all securing tapes.
·Wash the i nside of the appliance with lukewarm
water with a little bicarbonate of soda added (5ml to
0,5 litre of water). Do not use soap or detergent as
the smell may linger. Dry the appliance thoroughly.
Do not use detergents, abrasive powders,
highly perfumed cleaning products, wax,
polishes or products containing alcohol.
·Before inserting the power plug into the socket and
switching on the appliance for the first time, leave it
standing upright for about 30 minutes, or for 2 hours
if it was transported horizontally. Otherwise the com-
pressor may sustain damage. This time will allow the
oil sufficient time to return to the compressor.
Using the freezer
To start the freezer and thermostat
control
Switching on:
Switch on the freezer by pressing the power switch.
The alarm sounds if the temperature inside
the
freezer reaches room temperature. Turn off the
alarm
by pressing the switch-off
button.
Setting the temperature
Press the buttons until the desired temperature blinks
on the temperature display. (The temperature can be
set between -15°C and -24°C.)
"+" increases the temperature.
"-" decreases the temperature.
