Top tips:

✓ Signiﬁcant energy savings can be achieved by placing your appliance in a cool spot to

avoid kitchen hot spots like ovens, radiators or direct sunlight.

✓ Frequent defrost, at least every 6-12 months dependent on the model, keeps the

evaporator unit clean from layers of ice; enabling it to operate more efﬁciently.

✓ Try to avoid keeping the fridge or freezer door open for long periods, or opening the door

too frequently, warm air enters the cabinet and causes the compressor to switch on

unnecessarily.
