Positioning the Cooker

Caution:

Some soft or badly fitted floor coverings

can be damaged when the cooker is

moved across their surface for cleaning.

It is advisable to ensure that the floor

covering in the area below the cooker is

either securely fixed so as not to

become damaged when the cooker is

moved or, if preferred, removed.

This appliance has been designed to be

placed close to furniture units not

exceeding the height of the working

level.

The distance between the hob and the

side wall/furniture (if present) should be

minimum 450 mm.

Curtains must not be fitted

immediately behind the cooker

or within 115 mm of the sides

of the cooker.

Levelling

The appliance is provided withadjustable

small feet placed in the backand front

corners od the base.By adjusting the

small feet it ispossible to change the

height of theappliance so as to ensure a

betterlevelling with other surfaces and

auniform distribution of the

liquidscontained in pans or pots (see

diagram).
