Congratulations for choosing an Electrolux central vacuum
cleaner ZCV781, ZCV782 or ZCV785, which will please you and
be a big help for you in the next years. Those units are based
on so-called modern central vacuum cleaning technology. As
you have chosen a large and established brand this involves
safety in regard to modern construction, quality, service and
spare parts. Your new central vacuum cleaner has been tested
and approved according to the authorities’ requirements.
Content
Your Electrolux central vacuum cleaner consists of the following
components:
Central unit fulfils high requirements regarding environment
friendly low energy consumption and big suction power.
Tube system (see separate installation manual). Either you have
chosen a glue-free, environment friendly system or a traditional
gluey that offers optimal function and the same big suction power.
Cleaning equipment – accessory package (see separate
manual) exist in two different versions. Both of them have different
start/stop functions and different tube lengths.
Safety instructions
Read these safety instructions before you install and use your
central vacuum cleaner in order to make your product work perfect.
The central vacuum cleaner has been developed for traditional
cleaning. Thus, it is prohibited to vacuum fluids, ash and sharp
things.
Never use the vacuum cleaner in places where flammable or easy
flammable fluids or gases exist.
Always cut the power supply when executing maintenance on the
vacuum cleaner.
When cutting the power supply always pull on the plug and never
on the tube.

The main fuse must be 10A.
ZCV785 may not be installed in a rather limited place due to
cooling.
Never cover the central unit.
Follow the manual very carefully.
The service of the vacuum cleaner must be done by qualified
technicians. Use only spare parts and accessories recommended
by the manufacturer. Never try to change anything on the vacuum
cleaner yourself.
Never use the vacuum cleaner with a damaged connection cable.
The central vacuum cleaner has a special cable that needs to be
exchanged with a same cable, which can be obtained through an
authorised dealer.
Never vacuum without a dust bag if you have chosen model
ZCV781. Models ZCV782 and ZCV785 do not need a dust bag
as they have a self-cleansing filter, which always needs to be in
place.
Store this manual in a safe place for further reference.
Source sorting
The choice of material is of very high quality.
The products must not be regarded as ordinary
household waste. They shall be brought to a
source sorting system. By making sure that the
product is handled in the right way you contribute
to avoiding eventual negative environmental and
health damages, which can arise from regarding
the product as ordinary waste. Fur further information on recycling
contact your local authorities, garbage service or the shop where
you bought the product.
