Fault Cause Solution
The extractor hood will
not work at all.
The fan motor will not
run.
No mains power supply. Check whether the fuse/
circuit breaker is OK.
Check whether the mains
cable is correctly plugged
in.
Extending hood not pulled
out.
Pull out the extending
hood.
No light Bulb blown. Replace bulb.
The appliance does not
„extract“ well.
Very airtight doors and win-
dows, resulting in negative
pressure.
Open doors and windows,
but not in the immediate
vicinity of the cooker. En-
sure that there is adequate
ventilation.
Smoke when hood is in
operation.
Negative pressure Install a valve for exter-
nal ventilation, or open a
window.
Formation of grease
droplets
Filter becomes clogged
with grease
Hood becomes extre-
mely dirty

Re-route exhaust duct
more effectively.
The filter control function
cannot be reset.
The fan is running Switch off the fan, press
the function key for three
seconds.
Indicator light f or c is al-
ways lit up.
Extractor hood is not pulled
out.
Pull out the extractor hood,
press the function key for
three seconds.
