
4. BEFORE FIRST USE

CAUTION!
To open the oven door, always
hold the handle in the centre.
4.1 Initial Cleaning
• Remove all accessories and removable
shelf supports (if applicable).
• Clean the appliance before first use.
Refer to the chapter "Care and
cleaning".
4.2 Setting the time of day
You must set the time of day be-
fore you operate the oven.
When you connect the appliance to the
electrical supply or after a power cut, the
display shows 0:00.
Press the + and - buttons at the same
time until 0:00 flashes. Then press the +
or - button to set the correct time of day.
After approximately five seconds, the
flashing stops and the display shows the
time of day you set.
4.3 Preheating
Preheat the appliance to burn off residue
from the cavity surface. Accessories can
become hotter than during a normal oper-
ation. During this time an odour and
smoke can be emitted. This is normal.
Make sure that the airflow is sufficient.
Set the maximum temperature for 1 hour.
5. HOB - DAILY USE

5.1 Lighting the burners
WARNING!
Be very careful when you use
open fire in a kitchen environment.
The manufacturer declines all re-
sponsibility in case of misuse of
the flame.
Always light the burner before you
put cookware on it.

Push the knob fully down and turn it
to the maximum position
. When
you push the knob, the spark genera-
tor activates automatically.

Keep the control knob pushed for ap-
proximately 10 seconds. This lets the
thermocouple warm up. If not, the
gas supply is interrupted.

Adjust the flame after it is regular.
If after some tries the burner does
not light, check if the crown and
its cap are in the correct positions.

If the burner accidentally goes out,
turn the control knob to the off
position and try to light the burner
again after minimum 1 minute.
The spark generator can start au-
tomatically when you switch on
the mains, after installation or a
power cut. It is normal.
