Disposal

Pack aging m aterial

Th e pack aging m aterials are environm entally

friendly and can be recycled.

Th e plastic com ponents are identified by m ark -

ings, e.g. > PE<, > PS<, etc.

Please dispose of th e pack aging m aterials in

th e appropriate container at th e com m unity

w aste disposal facilities.

Old appliance

Th e sym bol on th e product or on its pack -

aging indicates th at th is product m ay not be

treated as h ouseh old w aste. Instead it sh all be

h anded over to th e applicable collection point

for th e recycling of electrical and electronic

eq uipm ent. By ensuring th is product is dis-

posed of correctly, you w ill h elp prevent poten-

tial negative conseq uences for th e environm ent

and h um an h ealth , w h ich could oth erw ise be

caused by inappropriate w aste h andling of th is

product. For m ore detailed inform ation about re-

cycling of th is product, please contact your loc-

al city office, your h ouseh old w aste disposal

B. Operating instructions

Th ese m odels h ave one slide sw itch w ith th e follow -

ing sw itch positions:

Sw itch (Pos. 2):

0 = OFF

= m edium airflow and m edium tem perat-

ure (800 W )

= h igh airflow and h igh tem perature (1600

W )

C. Cool sh ot button (Pos 3.)

By pressing th e COOL button, th e cold air can

be ach ieved at any w attage setting.

By sliding th e COOL button upw ards, you m ay

lock it in position to provide continuous cold

air at any w attage setting.

If you m ove th e sw itch back to th e original posi-

tion w ith out pressing th e cool button th en th e

appliance functions again w ith th e full pow er

selected.

Push - on nozzle (Pos. 1)

Th e push - on nozzle can be fitted as required. It

can be com pletely rotated, and is designed to al-

low a concentrated flow of air to dry sm all

areas of th e h air.

H anger (Pos. 4)

Th e integral h anger allow s space- saving stor-

age of th e h air drier, ready for use.

Ionic W ellness

Th is function is associated w ith a generator

th at produces m illions ofpurifying negative

ions.

W h at are ions?

Ions are electrically ch arged particles found in

nature. Negatively ch arged ions h elp to purify

th e air by neutralising th e positively ch arged

ions th at, by contrast, reduce its q uality by re-

taining in th e atm osph ere m any polluting

agents. An abundance of negatively ch arged

ions can be found after a th under storm or at

th e seaside or in th e m ountains, close to w ater-

falls and w aterw ays w h ere th e feeling of w ell-

being is due to th e increased presence of pure,

natural, revitalising air.

Im proved h ydration of h air

Negatively ch arged ions h elp to m aintain th e

proper h ydration of your h air. In particular,

th ey m icronize th e w ater particles present on

new ly- w ash ed h air, enabling th e stem to ab-

sorb m ore in order to restore th e natural bal-

ance of your h air's h um idity.
