Condenser Removal
To remove the condenser:
1. Disconnect power supply from unit.
2. Remove the front panel and cabinet wrapper/sleeve.
3. Remove the condenser fan cover.
4. Attach an approved self tapping line tap valve to the
process tube. Connect refrigerant recovery system
to tap valve. Turn on recovery system, open the
line tap valve, and allow refrigerant to flow into an
approved tank.
5. Disconnect inlet and outlet lines from condenser.
6. Extract the two screws securing the bottom of the
condenser to the unit base. (See Figure 4-29)
7. Carefully lift the condenser out from the unit base.
Evaporator Removal
To remove the evaporator:
1. Disconnect power supply from unit.
2. Remove the front panel and cabinet wrapper/sleeve.
3. Remove the fan and blower assembly.
4. Attach an approved self tapping line tap valve to the
process tube. Connect refrigerant recovery system
to tap valve. Turn on recovery system, open the
line tap valve, and allow refrigerant to flow into an
approved tank.
5. Disconnect inlet and outlet lines from evaporator.
6. Extract the two screws securing the bottom front of
the evaporator to the unit base. (See Figure 4-30)
7. Carefully lift the evaporator out from the unit base.
